Armchair
The Armchair Reader is the first blog of my very own. I’ve reviewed for two blogs over the past couple years, at Reviews by Jessewave and currently at Brief Encounters Reviews. While I don’t intend for TAR to become primarily a Review Blog, I do plan to post reviews here frequently, depending up on what I’m reading at the time and if I feel like writing about it. Other than reviews and periodic posts about my thoughts on m/m romance in general, I plan on posting about Food (including recipes!), Knitting, Music and my own musings.
Everything is still in creation so lots of things will probably change in my first few months, but here are some tentative themes and ideas that I want to bring to the site weekly.
Weekly Scheduled Posts
Sunday Supper – A Recipe for the Week
Monday Men – Men, Men, & more Men (need I say more?)
Hump Day, Hump Day – Some Smut to get you through the week!
Weekend Update – What I read this week and What to Look Forward to the Next Week
In addition to the regularly scheduled posts will be reviews and my own musings on m/m romance, knitting and crafts, food, music, or whatever else is on my mind.
It will take me some time to settle into running the blog smoothly, and I certainly hope that you will all enjoy what I have to offer π I welcome any and all comments, responses, and suggestions at armchairreader.coleriann{at}gmail.com.
Me
I’m 27 years old, a gay man, currently single. I review lots of M/M romance but read even more. I love to cook and devise my own recipes but my heart is really in baking. Those are the recipes I have the most fun creating and tweaking. I taught myself to knit at 19 and within the first year was knitting sweaters and complicated patterns. I’ve fallen a bit behind in recent years on that hobby, but I still love it whenever I pick up the needles for another hat or pair of socks, my two favorite things to knit, and even though I knit less these days, I’m always still looking for inspiration!
I’ve made a lot of friends online through my love of hot man on man books. Β They’ve become some of the best friendships in my life. It has taken me a while to finally carve out the time to create a blog of my own, but the time has finally come! It will take me some time to settle into running the blog smoothly, and I certainly hope that you will all enjoy what I have to offer. I welcome any and all comments, responses, and suggestions at armchairreader.coleriann{at}gmail.com.

Socks are the very best thing to knit. π
Cole
The best! They’re small so they knit faster and they can go from simple to extremely difficult. So fun!
You should do a knitting post for me sometime! Like, share a pattern or whatever π

Hi Zahra! Thanks for stopping by π I know! I need to make some hot men socks, if only they’d look even remotely good then maybe I would but that’s a terrible idea LOL.
Thanks again!! Hope to see you around π
Chris

Never got the hang of socks, but I did knit many pairs of mittens a couple of years ago. Call it late nesting or something ^.^
Cole
LOL, I love LOL I almost wrote mitting knittens. Anyway… I love mitten, they’re so fun to knit. I just hate wearing them! So I don’t knit them very much π
